At 28 I moved back home with my daughter an with another babygirl on the way two weeks from birth, I was on maternity leave without pay. I struggled being a single mother though I knew it was temporary and I was left with support and then some...

I got played when I was at my most vulnerable and couldn't discern what was right in my face. So I prayed, cried and gave it to God. Needless to say I fueled that pain that I couldn't shake yet had to be okay for my kids and so I began looking for solutions and praying for resources but just when I thought I would be fine, boom..

The Pandemic came along and made matters worst, I lost my job and felt like I had no worth. I had truly felt worthless and had always battled with depression from past trauma of being molested and raped. Holding that much pain inside you, you learn to hate yourself. Through God that very hate I overcame, the trauma I overcame and wanted to represent that...

I started Lady Vs Savage to represent women that have overcome pain, hurt, trauma and hate and depression. I know the difficulty of wearing those pains so I wanted to incorporate fashion wearing proudly what I believe represents what I've overcome and so many women have. Since I don't look like what I've been through and I'm sure you don't either, I wanted us to be able to connect and relate through creating a women's clothing brand...
